It was earlier reported that a staff nurse at Mansa Civil Hospital in Gandhinagar allegedly killed herself at her residence. Now, police have booked 11 of her in-laws on charges of ‘torturing’ her and abetting the crime, based on a handwritten note by the nurse.

The police informed that the body of the nurse, Bhumika Chawda (29) was found under mysterious circumstances. Her elder brother is a head constable with sector 21 police station in Gandhinagar and she was married to Rahul Dabhi. The couple has two young daughters aged 2 and 3 years. It is worth mentioning that the suicide note excludes the name of her husband but includes 11 of her in-laws for mentally and physically torturing her.
